What’s NEW

  • Newsletters: These Agricultural Trends newsletters have been created to inform MEP Staff across the country of trends, current research and agricultural news that can potentially effect where migrants come and go to work.  This can affect all eligible migrant students ages 3 – 21, including out-of-school youth. The SOSY newsletters were created to assist in the increased emphasis and support of our Out-of-School Youth and continuing to build and support the collaborative partnerships to increase each state's capacity to meet the challenging needs of OSY, with recovery youth or those here to work.

  • FREE LUNCHES FOR MIGRANT CHILDREN!  This is a reminder to ALL Migrant Directors & Data Clerks that migrant children are “categorically eligible” to receive free school meals once the district Migrant Education Program provides documentation of migrant children to the School Nutrition Program.  Click here for a detailed memo from the State Department.
  • Educating Low German Speaking Mexican Mennonite Students in Kansas
